in dec 2024 i came back with the intent of having a full first draft –
eventually –, so most of my writing efforts lately have been
focused on this project. maybe i'll post it here when ("when") it's done
idk. honestly i don't know what else to do with it
summary
a deeply paranoid, deeply mentally ill teenager takes refuge in a close
friendship with the charlatan meant to cure him of his undefinable
Strangeness. after she takes advantage of his trust, he struggles to maintain
an already-tenuous grip on reality...................

sidenote: about the title
i put actual thought into a title for once..
anyway i chose brood for 3 relevant senses of the word:
association with birds, a mother bird's clutch might also be
called a brood
association with motherhood, see previous
association with angst, a moody teenager brooding
ummm and then the subtitle was stolen from the title of
an article i don't remember how i found about a
surrealist artist i've never heard of.
