i make this a lot bc i’m depressed and soup is easy to both prepare and
consume. uhhh hope you like it
ingredients
lentil beans
carrots
potatoes (lots!!!!!)
celery
squash (i usually use chayote bc that’s what we have)
onion
lettuce / cabbage (?)
mushrooms
cilantro
tomato sauce
canned sweet corn
chicken bouillon (or another seasoning if you’re vegetarian? at least
put salt or something)
lemon
you don’t have to add everything i have listed here obviously, do whatever
you want. it’s soup. follow your heart
instructions
add lentils and water to a pot. bring to a boil, then turn down the
flame to medium and set a timer for 15 minutes. prepare the vegetables in
the meantime.
after the 15 minutes, add chopped carrots, potatoes, celery, and
squash. cook for 5 minutes.
add chopped onion, mushrooms, and lettuce. cook for 5 minutes.
turn off the flame. add cilantro, tomato sauce, and canned corn. stir
well. season with chicken bouillon and add lemon juice to taste.

note: cooking time
cooking times will obviously vary depending on how much you're making
and all that, just remember to leave those 10 minutes at the end for
cooking the vegetables and you're good!!! 👍
