*portion sizes for roughly 2 servings of spaghetti
spaghetti
1/2 cup butter
3-4 garlic cloves
white mushrooms
olive oil
salt + pepper
instructions
bring pot of water to a boil, set flame to medium and add pasta. set
timer for 10 min.
while the spaghetti is cooking, slice mushrooms and sauté in olive oil
until golden-brown. leave in pan.
to make garlic butter sauce: mince 3-4 garlic cloves. melt 1/3 cup of
butter in a small saucepan and add minced garlic, stirring until
fragrant.
when spaghetti is finished cooking, drain ~1/3 of the water and pour
the pasta into the pan with the mushrooms. pour garlic butter sauce over
spaghetti and stir until the pasta is thoroughly coated.
add salt and pepper to taste... (you will need a lot of salt)
